Sunet Internet Settings

Regional Victoria Dialup Number	0198 308 188	Use this in the dialup adapter configuration of you PC if you are located in Victoria, outside of Melbourne.
Melbourne Dialup Number	9011 5700	Use this in the dialup adapter configuration of you PC if you are located in Melbourne.
Supported Protocols	V.90, K56Flex, V.42, V.34, V.32 & V.25	These are the modulation, compression and error detection protocols that our modem banks support.

VCI	35	This must be set in the configuration of your ADSL modem/router
VPI	8	This must be set in the configuration of your ADSL modem/router
Username Suffix	@sunet.com.au	Add this to the end of your username for authentication
Supported Authentication Protocols	PAP & CHAP	If you require CHAP authentication (i.e. if using a bridged modem under Windows 98), please contact and inform the Sunet accounts department. They will need to make a change to your account to enable ADSL CHAP authentication.
